Tony was found on the side of the road, his neck caught in a broken chain, bleeding and covered in wounds. A large mass on his face caused him unbearable pain. The results were heartbreaking: Tony was suffering from severe infections, anemia, and Transmissible Venereal Tumor (TVT)—a contagious cancer that spreads through contact between dogs. Without immediate treatment, his life could have ended before it truly began.

His journey to recovery was long and painful. Weeks of antibiotics were needed to fight infections, chemotherapy to treat cancer, and constant care to restore his strength. Each day brought new challenges: learning to trust humans, rebuilding strength in his legs, and simply surviving.
